Dulcie Smart

PLAYER QUEEN

This is Dulcie's Melbourne theatre debut. She's played many roles on stage and screen in New Zealand and Germany - including Stella Goldschlag in the one-woman play Blonde Poison, Virginia Woolf in Vita & Virginia (both Berlin) and Desdemona in Othello, Betsheb in Louis Nowra's The Golden Age and Masha in Chekhov's The Seagull (all in Wellington). She keeps her skills polished working with international acting teachers Miranda Harcourt and Ivana Chubbuck, and in 2023 completed the 10-week American Way Masterclass at 16th Street Actors Studio. She's also an accomplished voice actress, specialising in animated characters for feature films, as well as narrating documentary films and museum audio guides.
