Shanu Sobti (she/her) is an Australian-American actor of Indian descent from Meanjin/Brisbane, and a 2023 graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (Bachelor of Fine Arts: Acting). Her recent work includes “First Love is the Revolution” (Wit Incorporated, dir. Emma Drysdale, November 2024), “Home Economics” (Midsumma Festival, dir. Stephanie Lee, February 2024), and “DANCE NATION” (VCA, dir. Emily Tomlins, October 2023). As a South Asian artist, Shanu is proud to be representing her identity and culture onstage with Melbourne Shakespeare Company.
