Emerson studied at The Victorian College of the Arts (Music Theatre Foundation, 2015), Pianoforte Music College (Classical & Contemporary Voice, Distinction, 2013) as well as 16+ years of competition dance. Their most recent credits include ‘Myrtle Warren’ in Voldemort and the Teenage Hogwarts Musical Parody (Salty Theatre, both the 2021 and 2022 Melbourne seasons and the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Festival season) ‘Stepmother/Witch’ in Hansel and Gretel (Playhouse Pantomimes, 2024), ‘Tallulah’ in Flamingo Joe (Antipodes, 2023) and ‘Fairytale Characters’ in Write Your Own Story (Playhouse Pantomimes, Melbourne Comedy Festival, 2022.) Since launching in 2020, Emerson has also been working passionately with ‘Out Of The Wings Theatre’, focusing on championing young BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Body Diverse, Disabled and Neurodiverse artists into the spotlight. Emerson is beyond delighted to make their Melbourne Shakespeare Company debut with ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and hopes you enjoy the show!
